Our minds and hearts soar as we read of "Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets," and we think of how gloriously God worked in and through them to accomplish His will and would love to be numbered with them. Recalling the friends who have refreshed us is always edifying. There are three things that are a wonder, even four things that elevate our souls: God's great mercy through our agape friendships, How blessed we are with our own, Onesiphorus, We are called to love others as we have been loved, Our God is merciful to us and trusts us to be His arms, hands, and heart.

Among life's greatest blessings are the people who give us moments of joy, encouragement, and wisdom; they lift our souls by their very presence. Imagine you had a friend who did all those things and on top of that, was not ashamed of your weaknesses and on top of that works hard to find you when you in an obscure place, I pray that you have such a beloved friend.
