Season Seven, October 2025, October 11: Who is the King of Glory? - The Holy Spirit - Our Trainer.
No longer will I make the claim to catch up. The Lord has something else in mind, obviously. But we will crack on with our October Surprise and see what other surprises are in store!
Today, we look at God, our Trainer.
We know the battlefield terms are:
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ," 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
We know Jesus is our example.
And we know the Holy Spirit is our practical Trainer.
"But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
John 16:13
Our So What?
Our affections and the content of our communion with God change as we meditate on our mission and our Trainer. How?
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen
