Season Seven, October 2025, October 10: Who is the King of Glory? - Our Sunrise from on High.
Growing up where I did, not England, France, or Germany, when I think majestic, I think of starry nights, mountain ranges, and most of all beautiful sunrises.
So there's no more fitting picture for me than that of the majesty of our God, than just that of a sunrise. Imagine my joy to learn, not only is God:
"I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12
But He is also:
"Because of the tender mercy of our God, With which the Sunrise from on high shall visit us" Luke 1:78
Our so what?
Imagine the most beautiful sunrise you can ever remember, or the next time you see the sunrise. Drink it in with this in mind, that the King of Glory, Jesus, is the Sunrise from on High. What a glory!
"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen"
