Devotional 53 - Silent in His Presence
I was reminded recently of the value of silence before God.
The Bible tells us about the incredible value of resting quietly.
Psalm 46:10
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 131:1-2
O Lord, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me. 2 Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.
Together let us come quietly, tranquil into the throne room of the King of Kings.
